Privacy & Compliance
Establishing the digital boundaries of the Hamax media engine.
1. The Zero-Telemetry Commitment
At Hamax, we believe that trust is the foundation of any powerful tool. Unlike traditional media tools that harvest user patterns, Hamax operates with zero telemetry. We do not track your downloads, your history, your platform preferences, or your identity.
Our server only sees an anonymous heartbeat for download counts to help us scale infrastructure, and even this is stripped of all PII (Personally Identifiable Information).
2. Local Sovereignty
Every bit of data processed by Hamax stays on your machine. The transcoding, segmented downloading, and encryption happen directly within the Hamax Turbo Engine on your local hardware. No media is ever proxied through our servers, ensuring your data remains your own.
3. Policy & Legal Compliance
Hamax is designed to be a high-performance utility for users to manage their digital content. We strongly convey that Hamax does not violate any platform policies. As a tool, it provides the pipe and the engine, but the control is entirely in the hands of the operator.
We respect the terms of service of the platforms we integrate with by focusing on user-directed, manual-only interactions. Hamax is a passive tool that empowers users to manage their media ethically and responsibly within the boundaries of personal use.
4. Transparency & Auditing
Because code is law, our law is open for inspection. The entire Hamax source code is available on GitHub for community auditing. We encourage security researchers and privacy enthusiasts to verify our claims by inspecting how we handle network traffic and file management.
